Mermaid Resort is located in the peaceful Scuba ping Paradise of Puerto Galera on the tropical Island of Mindoro, Philippines!
Mermaid Resort offers 30 spacious guest rooms and suites. All of our rooms are exclusively furnished and come with all of the amenities that you can rightfully expect from a modern hotel resort. The resort has all the facilities and services you need for a fully relaxing and enjoyable vacation: swimming pool, sundeck, massage, restaurant, bar, scuba ping and of course room service. A short distance from the resort you have access to white sandy beaches, and if you are a per, you are in for a unique underwater experience together with professional PADI certified pe instructors.

Mermaid Resort is a modern and elegantly designed resort offering a warm and friendly atmosphere. The resort has a large restaurant offering international, Chinese, Filipino and far eastern dishes. The Mermaid Cocktail Bar is conveniently located next to the dining area and here you can enjoy colorful cocktail drinks, cool fruit shakes and much more. You can also choose to cool off in the heat with a refreshing swim in the resort's swimming pool or just take a rest on a sunbed.

Apart from relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun, there are lots of activities and adventures to explore in Puerto Galera.
Within a short distance from Puerto Galera you can visit many interesting places such as Tamaraw Falls, the Mangyan Villages (native Mindoro inhabitants), Aklag River or maybe you can spend the afternoon playing golf at the Ponderosa Golf Club 1,700 feet above sea level. You could also go jungle trekking, climbing Mt. Malisimbo, sail to other nearby Islands or rent a motor-bike and explore the adventourous area on your own.

Puerto Galera is a 3-4 hours trip away from Manila. The land-trip from Manila to Batangas takes about 2 hours and the sea-trip from Batangas to Puerto Galera, Sabang Beach 1 hour. Buses leave from Manila going to Batangas every hour, and at Batangas Pier there are a wide selection of ferries and bangka boats going to Puerto Galera, Balatero Pier and Sabang Beach. It is also possible to hire a private van from Manila to Batangas.
